Since 2001, Dogs For Life has been turning lives around by providing independence for people who need assistance while at the same time provide a renewed purpose for abandoned dogs through specialized training. The fastest growing need for assistance dogs in Florida is among military Veterans.
Dogs for Life also operates a 4-acre off-leash dog park in the heart of Vero Beach that is available to the public by becoming a member. In addition to the safe & controlled environment containing walking trails, water & shaded oak trees there is a 2,400 sqft. air conditioned Assistance Dog Training Center. The dog park also offers Educational Programs for the Community including dog obedience and behavior and promotes responsible pet ownership.
