WEDNESDAY WISDOM | Did you know…| The Navy Seal Museum

Did you know that there are no replicas at The National Navy SEAL Museum? It is home to one of the most unusual collections of genuine artifacts and exhibits where all items have been in a battle or conflict! The National Navy SEAL Museum, the only Museum dedicated solely to preserving the history of the United States Navy SEALs and their predecessors, is located on North Hutchinson Island, just 15 minutes south of Vero Beach’s Causeway Bridge! First opening on Veterans Day in 1985, the Museum resides on the training grounds of the original Navy combat divers, the Frogmen. This family-friendly Museum promotes public education by providing the opportunity to explore the history of the United States Navy SEALs through interactive displays, an obstacle course and gift shop, while honoring the fallen at the Navy SEAL Memorial and caring for those warriors’ families.

The National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum is located at 3300 N. Hwy. A1A, North Hutchinson Island. Hours of operation are Tuesday – Saturday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Sunday – 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. For more information visit https://www.navysealmuseum.org/
