If you are new to Florida then you are probably unaware of these wacky laws. Did you know that in Florida you can legally drive barefoot or in flip flops? Yet, it is illegal to skateboard without a license. Love spending time at the beach or by the pool? Just don’t get too carried away when listening to your favorite song because it is illegal to sing in a public place while wearing a swimsuit. Women love relaxing at the salon but be aware that you may be fined for falling asleep under a hair dryer, as can the salon owner. Don’t go searching for an adrenaline rush on Sundays if you are a single female. Unmarried women are prohibited from parachuting on Sunday or she shall risk arrest, fine, and/or jailing. Think twice before stealing out in the country, penalty for horse theft is death by hanging!
